Mill Valley Little League

Baseball runs deep in the Williams household. I have many fond memories of playing Little League, but more relevant is the sport is a passion of our two oldest boys. I’ve spent countless evenings and weekends at the baseball field—either as a coach, a parent, or in meetings with fellow board members. It certainly adds to an already busy schedule, but I try to cherish these moments because I have no doubt I’ll look back and miss these days.
Mill Valley Little League (MVLL) is part of the heart and soul of the community. Founded in 1954, the league is dedicated to developing sportsmanship and skills in kids ages 5 to 15. With over 600 players and divisions for all age groups, MVLL offers a fun, inclusive environment at scenic Boyle Park and other fields around town. Known for historic milestones—such as Jenny Fulle breaking ground for female players in 1974—MVLL continues to unite the community through annual events like the Opening Day parade and championship games. Marin County Bicycle Coalition

If you know me, you know that riding a bike holds a special place in my heart. Growing up in a rural setting, the bike was my transportation, entertainment and competitive outlet. Not only do many of my friends and clients share a passion for the sport, but cycling has also brought countless benefits to my life over the years: a healthy lifestyle, a means of transportation, a way to socialize and compete (including earning the title of USA Cycling National Champion), an opportunity to help others achieve their goals through coaching—and so much more. Supporting a local organization that fosters the sport is a natural fit.
The Marin County Bicycle Coalition (MCBC) promotes a safer, connected cycling community in Marin. Through education programs, MCBC builds rider confidence in both children and adults, fostering safe and sustainable transportation. They support all types of cyclists with advocacy, events, and trail development, including their Road Advocacy Program to improve Marin’s Greenways and an Off-Road Program that aims to link the Golden Gate Bridge to Point Reyes with an extensive trail network. The Safe Routes to Schools program also reaches over 10,000 students, encouraging sustainable travel across Marin’s schools.

Entrepreneurship has attracted me throughout my employment history. Subsequently, it feels natural to support an organization that fosters the local business community—the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce (MVCC). Small businesses make up the fabric of a community, and it's a privilege to be a member and part of this group.
Downtown Mill Valley is a special place during the holiday season. Winterfest, organized by the MVCC, is a festive tradition held in the town square that truly allows residents to experience their community. It features a tree lighting, live performances, and family-friendly activities. The highlight of the evening is a visit from Santa Claus, bringing additional holiday cheer to the community gathering. Sponsoring the event and hosting a booth is always a highlight because the joy and happiness of the holiday season are witnessed firsthand.

My boys desire to play soccer made coaching their teams a natural fit. It’s an excellent sport for developing physical fitness, speed, coordination and team work skills.

Domestique for Best Buddies
Best Buddies International is a charitable cycling initiative striving to raise awareness and funds for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). By organizing rides, fundraising events, and community activities, Domestique for Best Buddies unites passionate cyclists, advocates, and supporters to promote inclusion, independence, and opportunities for people with IDD. Through these events, participants not only challenge themselves physically but also champion the mission of Best Buddies, helping to build a more inclusive and supportive society.
